Reverend William R. Mattox began his ministry as Senior Pastor at Meadowood Baptist Church on January 1, 2000. Previously he served as Associate Pastor of Education and Worship at Grace Baptist Church in Binghamton, New York. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Baptist Bible College of Pennsylvania and has pursued graduate studies at Baptist Bible Seminary, both in Clark’s Summit, Pennsylvania.
Pastor Mattox is a “teaching pastor” and his greatest passion is to help his congregation understand what God’s Word is saying and how it can be effectively applied to real life. As he often says, “good theology makes for good living.”
Pastor Mattox and his wife Ann have been married for 41 years and have three adult children and nine grandchildren.
Interests outside active ministry life include; spending time with his family; most sports, especially New York Yankee baseball; and visiting historical sites. On Mondays you might find him and his wife, Ann, riding the back roads of the Midwest on their Goldwing.
